I saw a party on another blog that was a train themed party and it was held at Old Poway Park. Well the pictures were just darling and when I looked it up it seemed like it would be an inexpensive and fun family activity. So we invited friends and off we went! It was such a pretty park, so green with big beautiful trees and old buildings dotting the property. But of course, we were there for the real steam engine! We got in line, bought our tickets and climbed aboard! It was so fun and the kids seemed to really like it. It was a nice little ride around the park a couple times. Then we had a picnic lunch and let the kids play and explore. I was quite pleased with the afternoon. Good times with great company. Thanks for the great pictures Jessica!
